February 24, 2009: I've just found employment at Iowa State University, where I'll be putting my skills to work on an NSF-funded project. Once I'm settled into that, I may consider taking on small contract projects.

I'm not always stellar at keeping this page fresh. Let me know if you'd like an update.

Visual Basic Intern and Intranet Development Intern
MemberWorks (now called Vertrue). Omaha, NE. Summer 2002.

  • Used Visual Basic to successfully rebuild a system monitoring program for monitoring server response times across the company network from Montreal, Houston and Omaha and send notifications when necessary.
  • Designed and implemented a program which used census data to associate a gender with first names. This data was used to support the company's marketing division.
  • Created an intranet site to simplify filing reports, using HTML, ASP and JavaScript.
